Speedrunning Platform Shooter
Moon Marshall was made by Me and a team of two other friends during Git’s Game Off 2020 Game jam. During this jam, we had one month to create a game based around the Jam’s theme, which that year the theme was ‘Moonshot’. With that in mind, we all really wanted to make something simple and fast, as well as have a character that used a gun in multiple ways in order to proceed through the levels. We ended up with the idea of speedrunning through a train that is on the surface of the moon!
During this jam, my main role was Audio and Programming, but I was also in charge of project management and making sure that we successfully finished the game jam before the deadline.
